About

winter-2011-006abcIt’s especially hard for me to talk about myself. I feel as a writer I owe you a good story, and mine is yet…well at best still being written. Like most of you I am not a writer by profession. It is a passion that I have unfortunately ignored for too long. Sometimes in the grind of everyday life we lose the one thing that will make all the difference; our voice.

I find it amazing that there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet, yet when sewn together into words, they present humanity an unbounded treasure of literature. Words enthrall me with their power. While powerful civilizations have come and dwindled, the muscle of words lives on long after its author. Words cut deeper than a dagger, move a nation to a revolution, gather up an army, or kindle the fire of love in an empty heart.  It is words that make up our deepest beliefs and words that can shake and disillusion.

So this year I decided to go back and embrace what I so enjoy; writing. Thanks to family and friends I decided to start this blog which is all about discovering oneself and staying in touch with one’s soul.

As a novice writer I hope this shall be a great forum for me to write and learn. I look forward to your critiques, likes and comments. So here’s to “pressing on” to writing words that make a difference.

  1. I loved what you had to say about words. I simply love words. Apart from inciting revolutions an stirring passions, I find that they paint pictures, create images, capture life – some people prefer brushes and paint or cameras – to me words have a rhythm and poetry to them that make me feel alive and entranced while I play with them – which is all the time.

  2. Nice to meet you. 🙂 I saw that mother hen and chicks on your blog and hit the follow button. I love chicks. 🙂

So cute of you to drop me a line
