Falling in love

jakob-owens-152234-unsplashMaybe one day I shall become a poet,
and write a book. Each page will be
enjambed with my tongue.
I shall publish it on recycled paper
and leave plenty of space in the margin
for your notes.

When you chose to relax
with a glass of wine, open my
book & like a dolphin dive in.
Leaving splashes of my words on
your couch.

Do not swim just sink into my poem
and let the music fill the pores of your soul.
For here my reader, my lover you will be
safe forever…

  1. very refreshing.. loved how I could just “feel” the words, not just read them.. You are very talented… let me know when your book come out.. I’ll be the first to “splash” colors, draw, write in the margin and make marks and add life to it.. AWESOME!! Lilangelwolf.. πŸ™‚

    1. OMG! Such a sweet comment. Thank you so much for being such a good sport to read my poem and write me such a kind note. Many Thanks πŸ™‚

  2. Miss Ubcute, how much can I slide you under the table to bribe you so I can be the first to dive in like a dolphin ahead of Lilangelwolf? Um, money could be no object? Delicious poetry, I tasted every word. ~Cliff πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
