“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

TRUTH.
Very true! What’s worth having talent if you’re not going to use it? Thanks for sharing the inspiration!
You are very welcome 🙂
A great quote and so true.
Yeah 🙂
To be honest it helps me whenever I feel I have too much to do and very little already done. Persistence needs reminding.
That reminds me of a quote I heard in the last couple of weeks: “If you bite off more than you can chew, keep on chewing”. At first I thought it was a bit superficial, but a few times when I’ve been buried in work I’ve found myself telling myself this.
Yeah, that’s a good one, considering the alternative could well be choking…
This is a great one. Only persistence can make an ordinary person becomes a shiny diamond after many challenges of life. I learn a lot from these words, thanks for sharing ❤
My pleasure. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
where is this from?
Not sure what you mean by “this”. If you mean the picture it is of a famous South Indian Temple (Meenakshi Temple). The words are famous words of Calvin Coolidge.
I meant the temple… Coolidge was pretty clear in your post 😉
