“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

      1. That reminds me of a quote I heard in the last couple of weeks: “If you bite off more than you can chew, keep on chewing”. At first I thought it was a bit superficial, but a few times when I’ve been buried in work I’ve found myself telling myself this.

  1. This is a great one. Only persistence can make an ordinary person becomes a shiny diamond after many challenges of life. I learn a lot from these words, thanks for sharing ❤

    1. Not sure what you mean by “this”. If you mean the picture it is of a famous South Indian Temple (Meenakshi Temple). The words are famous words of Calvin Coolidge.

So cute of you to drop me a line
