      1. the last few weeks were always the hardest for me, as you feel so heavy and just want it all over and done with. The labor and birth is hard work, and painful, but once that baby is in your arms, you forget all of that and just marvel at the miracle you have before you

        1. LOL yes, yes I know what you mean by feeling heavy! Its like being in Dr Seuss’s Waiting room after gobbling up something large and heavy 🙂

  3. Congratulations! Great to hear from you after a long time and even with such a good news. My wife too just had a baby, this is our second, wish you many more happiness to come and nothing to fear. Wish you all the best and awaiting the good news soon 🙂

  4. Congratulations! That is wonderful news and it looks like you’re handling the situation like a pro. I’ve been myself away from regular blogging (due not to a baby but a new book), so don’t apologize. As a the mother of four kids I would only give you a tip: accept any help that allows you to sleep. Sleep at some point becomes the most precious thing for a new mom.
I wish you the very best. Enjoy the last stretch of the journey and the new addition to your family.

    1. Thank you so much for your heartfelt wishes and suggestion. I will be sure to follow your suggestion. Congrats on your new book. That is wonderful news. Is it on Amazon? I will check it out.

  5. I love reading about the honest truths of pregnancy without it being put in this terrifying light. This was realistic and beautiful to read while stating some of the difficulties that are different for each woman. Loved reading this and all the best with your new bundle of joy!

  6. I just stumbled across this post and I must say it was so nice to know I wasn’t alone in all of the things I experienced with pregnancy! 🙂 What is crazy is that my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 7 years and we also found our last Nov that we were expecting! Congratulations on your sweet baby! I look forward to keeping up with your journey as a new mom!
